By downloading, installing, or using the DazeToGo mobile application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

DazeToGo is a mobile application that allows you to:

Create and manage countdown timers for your events
Customize countdowns with colors and emojis
Optionally share countdowns via public links
View and interact with shared countdowns

3. Use of the App

3.1 License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

3.2 Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

Use the App for any illegal purpose
Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
Spam the reaction feature or attempt to bypass rate limits
Share content that is offensive, harmful, or violates others' rights
Interfere with or disrupt the App's servers or infrastructure

4. User Content

4.1 Your Content

When you create a countdown and choose to share it, you retain ownership of your content (event title, date, emoji, color). By sharing, you grant us a license to store and display this content to users who access the share link.

4.2 Content Responsibility

You are solely responsible for the content of your shared countdowns. We do not review or moderate shared content unless reported.

4.3 Prohibited Content

You may not share countdowns containing:

Hate speech, harassment, or threats
Illegal content or promotion of illegal activities
Spam or misleading information
Personal information of others without consent

5. Disclaimers

5.1 "As Is" Service

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

Warranties of merchantability
Fitness for a particular purpose
Non-infringement
Uninterrupted or error-free operation

5.2 Accuracy

While we strive for accuracy in countdown calculations, we do not guarantee that timezones, daylight saving time adjustments, or date calculations will be 100% accurate in all scenarios.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, dashwhiz and its developer shall not be liable for:

Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
Loss of data, profits, or goodwill
Damages arising from use or inability to use the App
Damages arising from shared content created by other users

7. Data & Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Key points:

All countdown data is stored locally on your device
Shared countdowns store minimal data on our servers
We do not collect personal information
IP addresses are hashed for rate limiting only

8. Termination

We reserve the right to:

Suspend or terminate your access to shared countdowns if you violate these Terms
Remove shared countdowns that violate these Terms
Discontinue the App or any feature at any time without notice

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device.

9. Changes to the App

We reserve the right to:

Modify or discontinue the App or any feature
Update these Terms at any time
Change or remove features without notice

Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

10. Intellectual Property

The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by dashwhiz and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

11. Third-Party Services

The App uses Appwrite (third-party backend service) for shared countdowns. Your use of shared features is also subject to Appwrite's terms of service.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of your jurisdiction, without regard to conflict of law principles.
